Visit St Laurence Church
Visitors are very welcome but sadly, for reasons of security we are no longer able to leave the buildings open and unattended for visitor access.
Access details are as follows:
May to September: The church is open every Saturday afternoon from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
Other times: If you wish to visit at any other time please contact the clergy or wardens.
If you are tracing your family history you are very welcome to look around the church and churchyard. The parish registers are kept at the County Records Office and not at the church.
Where we are…
The church is located in the old hamlet of Hallgarth, only a few minutes away from High Pittington.
From the A690 take the Pittington turning. On entering the village go straight ahead at the crossroads and take the first left turn (approximately half a mile). Turn right at the Hallgarth Manor Hotel and you will find the church at the end of the short road.
