Building project

We have been entrusted with a beautiful and historic building, and we are raising money to provide new facilities (including an accessible WC) and to repair walls and guttering.

We need about £50,000 to cover all the work needed, and we’ve already started raising money through:

Posh nosh

Every so often, a team of willing chefs get together at Southbrook House in High Pittington and produce a wonderful meal.  We’ve had a few themed nights, including Indian, Italian and Spanish, and sometimes we just go for a sumptuous three course meal.  As well as enjoying fantastic food, it’s also great fun.  There is no charge, but everyone can make their own donation.  So far we’ve raised about £1,500 as a contribution to the fund.

Sponsored walks and bike rides

A few brave people have cycled or walked miles to help us raise money for the building fund.  If you are interested in doing something like this to help us out, we’d be very grateful.  All you need to do is contact our Treasurer before or after the event.
